I have a 89 yj with 1 inch lift shackles 2inch leaf springs and pro comp shocks and 33 inch swampers....
i have 15x8 rims and some guy told me i can not fit them in the swamper..
But i talked to a few more people some said it depends on what kind of stance im looking for some said they like it better then a 10 inch i need some opinons?
should i run the 15x8
the tires i have on now are 31s and one has a nail in it and needs replaced so i was going to throw on my swamps!
let me know thanks

Thats a little big for an 8" rim. Generally max is 12.50's. Will they work, sure, but I think you'd be better off with a 10" rim.

too wide for an 8" rim. and the tires are too tall for only 3" of lift unless you've done some fender cutting.

fenders are cut.. so they fit pretty good for now ya i was at predator and the guy told me he runs a 8 on his 33s... so i thought it cant be that bad.
they measure out to like 12.5 there not really that accurate.
so im actually putting it in a 12.5
what would happen if i did it whaat bad will happen? :neil:

I run 15/35X15 TSL's on 15X10 and they make the 10" wide wheel look narrow. I could only imagine how they'd look on an 8" wheel! :eek:

My mistake, I was thinking the 33's you had were 15" wide, not 13.5". I ran 33X13.5 LTB's on both 10" and 8" wide wheels and they worked and looked fine on both.
