I have no idel in my wrangler as soon as i relase the gas my jeep dies any ideas thanks.

If it's a laredo I bet 258 I6. With all the fabulous carter/emissions.
1st are you sure it has gas?
fuel filter?
vacuum leak.
possibly adjust idle
wet distributor?

Its the Godamner Switch. They are known problems on your jeep. Yes, just yours. Not ours.

sorry guys i have a 4.0 str8 6 i know i have fuel and i just went muddin on sunday i dont think its vacum i checked all the vac lines and adjusted my idel screw.

When you do rev it up, does it still sound rough?
I bet your distributor is wet/muddy.

My distributor is fine no mud got in to it i have lag so im thinkin it my be my fuel filter which im going 2 replace in school 2morrow if not theat that it will have 2 b a vacum leak
