D30 opinions needed

I'm sure this has been covered already. Would you go with a posi-lok or a one piece XJ axle given the choice? I have both. It's not a daily driver but does see some hiway speeds. Thanks in advance.

One piece axle. It will give you a bigger u joint and get rid of the axle disco!

Depends on your locker situation. If you want to go with a front locker, I like the posi lok because you can disnengage it to allow you to turn more easily. If you are open, the XJ shaft would be marginally stronger but would completely eliminate the disconnect. As far as that goes, I don't know of anyone that's had problems with the disconnect, just the vacuum actuator. With a posi-lok you eliminate that. There are pro's and con's to each.

I've got both right now, 297 U-joint axles or the posi-lok. The D30 is equipped right now with a tru-trac and no plans to change it, it works good enough for now. Thanks
