I'm thinking about getting a set of boggers for notmYJ. I am planning on running them on the street alot. I drive 40 or so miles a day on the interstate. With that in mind, what kind of mileage should I expect out of them? I am not concerned about noise, I will just turn up the radio. How about handling at 55-60? Are they scary? I figure the balancing will be way off no matter what, but I am willing to over look this as well as the noise.

Any one else run these on the street? Looking for general real world reveiws... So lets have it.....

Well you know the old saying if you have to ask. They will wear very quickly on the street. The same as any other mud tire. You might want to consider getting a cheap set of all terrains to run on the street.

I had a set of 33's on mine till 6 mths ago. The noise wore on me, so I didn't mind that. The handling was a little quirky especially if the road was worn and bumpy. I drove w/ it on the interstate a few times, wasn't scarry at all. Flat spots were a little aggrivating, but who cares. And to put it all to an end, I took them off 6 months ago and dont care to put them back on. Now I've got 35" Toyo's and love them. If they wear well, and I believe they will, I'll never go to another! 2 of my friends put 15K miles on theirs. I had 10k on mine when I took them off. Probably had another 5k left. Hope this helps.

I just replaced a set of 33x10.5 boggers. Expect to get 20-25K. They flat spot like crazy. They roar on the highway and they have a cool ratcheting effect as you pull to a stop. If you're going for looks, they can't be beat. Somebody asked me about them 2 out a 3 times I had it out. I really liked mine but a 40 mile commute, I don't know.... I switched to 36 swampers.

Trust me on this one; They will kill any fuel mileage you are getting now. And they take a lot of power to keep up to speed on the interstate. But on the other hand they pull like @#*$&*@ :neil: #

they look awesome

the sound is addicting, i hear it in my sleep and LOVE it

the fuel mileage is non-existant

they flat spot as mentioned but 5 mins into your ride they will be back to normal

at stop lights you won't need to hold your brake since the grooves and knobs will hold you in place, haha

on my wrangler they lasted 2 years... dunno how many miles but i'd guess about 20k

for my next set i'm getting tsl radials an inch smaller since they'll last so much longer.....
