I am having some issues with my clutch.....

Sometimes when I try to push the clutch in I have to use all of the strength in my legs to push it in. Then, about 1" from the floor, it goes down easy and I can shift. Sometimes it will do this every time I push in the clutch, and sometimes it is fine (I had driven it the last three days without it doing this). Other times it seems like it is really easy to push it in (maybe I am just used to having to force it).

I am thinking it is the slave cylinder for the clutch going out. Anyone have a similiar experience? Anyone know what it might be?

Thanks!

btw, This is in a 1993 YJ, 4.0L, AX-15.

Master or slave would be my guess.

Thanks Leadfoot

Is that fairly easy to replace? I have heard that it is, but I haven't had a chance to look under the Jeep.

Any tips or anything to look out for when I replace it?

Thanks
