My automatic trans in my 89 wrangler went out. the flex plate is also cracked. I have a 90 xy cherokee with an auto trans. I was wondering if anyone knew if the trans were interchangeable. I would be putting the cherokee tranny into my wrangler. The cherokee has the 4.0 the wrangler has the 4.2
