? What about on the front. The leaves are in between what looks to be steering and tie rod. Wouldnt the leaves flex and bend onto the rods? Im just looking at an excellent example and looking at how I'm going to do it. Looks good.

dude... the rods are connected to the knuckle->connected to tube |
tube connected to leaf..
everything follows the same path ; )
what I want to know is, what piece is that you have on there that the draglink is connected to? home-made bolt on or weld on?

Things are tight! Depending on which leafs are being used (mine are the RE 1.5" SOA leafs), I needed to install the optional MORE mini risers that come with the MORE Steering Correction Kit, under the front leafs for a tad more clearance. The risers are ~7/16". I ran without them & noticed slight contact when the leafs flatened out - so I loosened the ubolts & slid the risers underneath & buttoned back up the ubolts.

The leafs still rub ever-so-slightly, but it's only enough to scrape the paint off & no real ill-effects.

These pics give a better angle at how close things are.

Any other questions - feel free to ask. :)

I mainly posted these pics due to talking to Andy in Kentucky on the phone last night & he wanted to see some pics for his SOA project he's in the middle of right now. Plus, I'm a pic whore. :D :D

It's the MORE bracket that you get with the MORE Steering Correction Kit.

It bolts to the HPD30 knuckle in 5 places. You need to grind the top of the knuckle just a little so the bracket sits flat on it. Then drill & tap 3 holes. It's also double sheer at the knuckle end - which is nice. :) I've been 100% happy with it so far! :yup:

Joe, shouldn't you be running a double sheer on the pitman arm? I would be afraid of the torque put on it. That is one of the reasons I went with TRE's

That would be ideal - but the MORE kit doesn't come with provision for that, so I installed it without any extra beef.

It's been installed for almost 4 years and sees regular use, and at this point all has held-up fine. But you are correct - double sheer at all connections would have been a better/stronger set-up.

Hey Joe, do you wash and wax the underside of your Jeep? Looks all clean and shiny under there. Mine looked like that....once.
