I posted this a while back but I didn't get any responses and I couldn't find anything from searching... When I bought my YJ the RE 2.5" springs on it were mounted backwards with the military wrap to the shackle and the non wrap end to the hanger. I plan on changing flipping them back to normal, but is there any way that installing the springs like this could have damaged them in some form or fasion? I'm a previous TJ owner and not yet a leaf guru. Thanks a bunch!

Without seeing them to confirm things - I doubt they were damaged by being installed 180* out.

If the pic of them is accurate on the RE website - it would seem that there are the same amount of clips at each end and at equal distances from the leaf eyes and centerpin which factors in to how they perform. If this is the case - I really doubt damage was caused by having them installed backwards.
