I just purchased a ford 8.8 rear out of a 94 ford explorer and the yoke on the 8.8 is like a circular flat piece of metal with like 6 bolt holes and my yj driveshaft has a u-joint.........so how do I adapt to this?? Any info on 8.8 axle swap to a yj will be appreciated!
Thanks

"221379*** Special Yoke All F 8.8 to 1310 series u-joint No Paint $40.00 "
***We now have available the unique yoke that is needed to adapt the stock size U-joint (YJ or XJ rear drive shaft, 1310 series Spicer) to the Ford 8.8 rear pinion flange. Pictured above upper right."
I think I bought my yoke adapter from MORE also. It's been quite a while. Do a search for Joe Dillard. He's posted lots of pics of his 8.8 conversion. I'm sure within his pics is an example of the part you'll need.

I used/run the Spicer yoke adapter PN 2-2-1379 since I run a 1310 series rear driveshaft rear ujoint.
If you run the 1330 series ujoint, the Spicer PN 2-2-1378 will do the trick.
Also, you'll also need the flange bolts for the 8.8” which are 12mm x 1.75 thread 12 point, Ford P/N N800594-S100.
