Upper 1/2 door question

I have a 94 YJ and an older CJ hard top. I have read that the top should fit (minor tailgate issue) and I know that the soft uppers I have will not work with the hardtop since I need rounded corners. What is my best option as far as upper 1/2 doors to be able to use my hard top. I don't want to spend $1000 on hard doors, and it's is not our main transportation. I just want it to be a bit warmer and quieter for the winter.

have you put the CJ hard top ON yet to make sure it fits?
I tried that route last winter... and the seals did NOT fit for the doors nor the windshield.
I bought a near-new YJ hard top this summer..and I just picked up the upper soft windows from a YJ with the curved edges, I hope they work. You can buy a set of them new from bestop for like 3 or 4 hundred I think- they'd be labeled for the supertop or non-stock.

He pretty well summed up the only other option would be to pick up a set of CJ doors with the striker pin style latch or to pick up a set of the fiberglass uppers with slider windows. I don't know where you do you Jeep part shopping but on a lot of the local club boards you can usually find the CJ doors for around $500 in good condition. Kind of pricey, but a real nice addition to your new hardtop.

i run a cj hard top with yj 1/2 doors and Rockgearinc Baja uppers(hard shape)
it works out fine fo me and i like being able to pop the tops off and throw them in the back.

I have seen some upper 1/2 fiberglass ones with the sliders on eBay, how do I know for sure what they fit? or will any with the rounded corners work?
