What is hard to one is easy to another. What is your experience level? I can do one in about 3 hours, But I have air tools and a lift. They are not really hard to do. Just remember it is all just nuts and bolts. You may need a freind to help with the trans/transfercase assembly because it can be heavy without a trans jack.
Shops will usually let you buy your own parts, but they frown upon it. I can get the book times tommorrow at work and then you just need to find out their hourly rate to see what they charge. Most clutch jobs run about 4-5 hours and my shop charges 88$ an hour.
