I've got 33" MTRs and I've been running them at 28 psi or so. Thats isn't too low correct? Thanks

go to flat ground and draw a chalk line on your tires, roll forward, if the line is even across on the pavement you should be fine as far as tire wear.

I used to run 25 in my Toy with 33s without odd tire wear.

I run 31 MTs and run em at about 33. For a 33" tire, 28-30 sounds right.

I run 24 on pro comp x-terrains on 8 inch wheels. This is to high and I am going to experiment with 22-23. I came back from a off road trip on the hi way at 70 mph at 18 psi and did not notice any difference in handling etc.but would not recommend this low. The tire shop recommended 25.

I run 24 on my 35" MTR's on 8" wheels. 45k miles on them, and I still have about 50% tread left. pretty dang good if you ask me.

The rating on the sidewall of the tires will tell you the correct air pressure for the best tread life.

Just take the maxuim air pressure of the tire and divide it by the max work load of the tire. This will give a ratio of ? psi to ? lbs of load. Now take the exact wieght of your jeep and do the math...

IE Tire Max Pressure is 35 psi and the load is 2500 lbs. So the ratio is 1psi to 69 lbs of load per tire... Now lets say the JEEP is 5500lbs so the tire pressure would be roughly 20 psi....

( 5500/4 tires = Load per tire 1375 ... 1375/69 = 19.93 )

In my YJ with 34x10.50R15 LTB's... I run 15.5 on the road.... and 5 on the trail.....

26 psi on 8" rims, 33" MTR's. Like Scott said... over 40K and at least 50% or more meat left.

I've 32" MTRs and I've been running 34 up front and 32 in the rear. Wear seems even except for a short period of time after I went to a quickie oil changer. They ran over 50psi in my tires and it felt like I was riding on concrete wheels. I remember the guy said, "Its a big tire, it will take alot of air" but I figured he was talking about volume and not pressure. What a moron!!

35/12.50 MTR's on 8" wheels, 20psi street, 7-8psi trail. Nice even wear, and they handle just fine at highway speeds.

Usually ~8-11 psi with 35x12.50x15 MT/R's, non-daily driver. :)

Best tread wear pattern I get w/ these 33/10.5 BFG MTs is around 21-23, depending on how I'm loaded. If I'm running a long trip and wanna get a little better mileage, I'll run them up to 28-30.
