I cannot get the steering arm off the knuckle of my D44. Any ideas? Should I use a puller? What type? I tried a 2 jaw puller with no luck and I have beat the hell out of it with a big hammer.

I'm not familiar with the exact set-up you're talking about. Any pics to show? That way better feedback could be provided.

Joe,
It is a steering arm like this. I know it has cone washers in it I just can't seem to get it to budge.

Is that the only way? I heard if you can get the cone washers out it comes off easy.

I meant to just heat it, not cut it.
