Wanted: Auto trans for a YJ with 4.0L or person to rebuild one. South East Michigan

My Automatic trans in my 93 YJ 4.0L took a dump today. :steamin: I'm looking for a good used one, ready to bolt in or a reasonably priced person to rebuild mine.
I checked with one recommended guy, but he is backed up till mid June and wants over $500 to rebuild one if I take it out and bring it to him. :sadpink:
Any other clues who can do it faster or any leads on a good used trans? I live in Michigan near Pontiac.

i know of a guy out by my place that has done great trans work for the family. only thing is its a bit of a drive from where you are at... i think the name of the place is Great Lakes Transmition or something like that... i got the number back at home if you want it. its out near St. Clair...

check the michigan auto and RV. in the parts and repairables section there should be a place called wabash jeep. it is in wabash indiana. they are the best priced place i've found to deal with jeep parts. they are essentially an all jeep boneyard. they are only an hour from me, and i live in NW ohio.
