I own a '92 jeep wrangler and yesterday I hit a bump and I heard a crack behind my steering wheel. I grabbed my steering wheel and the entire wheel rotated( like when you put the tilt on it goes up and down, now it was going up and down and sided to side). Everything was working because I had to drive it home. When I turned on the signal the entire section where the turn signal lever comes out was rotating freely around the column and I had to grab it and hold it then flip the signal. It seems as if some sort of mounting or stabilzer broke and the column is just laying there. Does anyone know what my be wrong or what I should do? Thank you for your help
