I have installed most of my Rough Country 4" kit and moved the 31's from my dead xj (pics when I figure out whats wrong with my camera). I haven't installed the rear brake line bracket, the rear track-bar bracket, or the pitman arm. Is a power steering pitman arm different from a manual one? Also, does anyone have hints for removing the rear track bar bolt? It's stuck in the bushing and because its torx I can't twist it as hard as I'd like to.
Thanks
I can give a little advice on the trackbar...
I managed to get the driver's side out, but the passenger side was too much of a PIA cause it's in such an awkward position. I just cut the bar really close and said hell with it. It's probably only a half inch or so of the bar left there, and it hasn't caused me any trouble. Maybe one day I'll try to tackle it and get it completely out.
Otherwise I'd say PB Blaster it for a week or so and give it a try, or possibly weld a nut to that stupid torx head.
edit: can't spell
