I tried the search engine, No luck. A while back I read a post about adding a 3/16" piece of sheetmetal between the tub and puck to help prevent the puck from breaking thru the tub when off-roading. Does anybody recall this post or can direct me to it. I also wonder what effects it would have, besides making the BL 3'16" higher, stiffer, bolt length. thanks, Rik

I did this. I do not view it as a mod, but as a repair. When I purchased my jeep it had a 3"bl on it and all the mounts had cracked. So I took of teh 3" bl and tossed it anad rplaced it with a 1" BL. Looking back, I should have just cut 1" off the old BL and saved some coin. Upon reasembly I used some 3/16" pieces larger than the hole and the body mount, drilled a hole through them(3/16" spacers) the size of the body mount bolt and put them in place between teh body and body mounts. Seems to be working so far (couple of years now)

So I'm assuming you didn't or haven't had any problems with the length of the bolts? BTW, The body lift I'm considering is a P.A. 2". Thanks, Rik
