Ignition Lock Cylinder Question

Can the ignition lock cylinder be removed from a 95 YJ tilt column if you do not have the ignition key?

I have a steering wheel puller and lock plate compressor but I havn't messed with a lock cylinder before. I have a non tilt column in my YJ and I want to swap in a tilt column. The column I found has no key. I wan to put my current lock cylinder from the non tilt column into the new tilt column.

If you can get the vin for the coloum you need the key for your dealer or a locksmith can cut you a key:slapz:

Yes you can pick up a new lock cylinder from an Auto Parts store. Pull old out it is not necisarry to have key.
