over my head w/np231 please help!!!!!!!!!!

ok...87 YJ swapping out BA10 for AX15....replaced input shaft on t-case (that was fun), put it all back together and was quite proud of myself....until....I bolted it up to the tranny, and it will only spin in 4H, N, & 4L (tranny and t-case are out of jeep on floor). anyone have a clue what I did wrong on reassembly and how to fix it?????????thanks, mason

if I spin either the main shaft of the tranny or the yoke of the t-case (for front diff) the others will rotate accordingly - even in N...if in 2H....resistance all around...will barely rotate w/ALOT of pressure

If it spins in N, you linkage is out of adjustment. Thats why you don't have 2wd.

feeling a little stupid now....I tried to use the BA10 t-case shifter....when I unhooked the linkage and shifted the t-case to 4low....it didn't even reach the shifter where it is in the 4low position......thanks leadfoot
