Here's the only two pics I have as of yet from this past weekend.

Notice my driver's side shackle and spring...ECH! Overall we had a pretty good weekend. broke my draglink sunday afternoon, but thanks to the Badlands Machine Shop, it was welded back together in no time!

Total carnage count for the whole crew of 5:

1 D44 front axle
1 D44 rear axle
1 Front U-joint
1 Draglink
Many new dents

Enjoy!

What springs are those in the front? They look a bit short.

Try the MORE Boomerang shackles up front. I have never inverted a shackle yet with them on.

hmmm...i'll look into those. It's never done that before until i had the trailer sitting high one day and tried to load it. flipped BOTH the shackles back. fun fun.

Looks like fun was had.. I like the linked rear setup! As far as shcakles up front, I recommend either a shackle reversal with boomerangs, to MAKE sure it doesn't happen again, or if you are set against the reversal, just go with boomerangs up front...

like one SLOOOOOOOW turtle.

no need to hit the gas in low range when taking off in 1st. just dump the clutch. :agree:

longer shackles will help, boomerang shackles or some other setup that stops the shackle from going back that far help, also you can use a spring clamp on the main leaf and second leaf kinda like a milatary wrap concept.
