I realize this is like 2 months late but i FINALLY got all the pics up from my BV Carnage. Here's a few teasers, the rest are located here (http://phatxj.com/users/wally/list.php?path=Carnage+BV+2004/) I had a DAMN good time up there, one of the hardest trails i've ever run, we started out with 8 rigs, and only 4 of us finished that day.

Hope ya enjoy, i know i did :agree:

Nice pics Wally! would you happen to have a front shot of your YJ on those axles with the H2 wheels? Your axles are full width right?

One of these day joe, probably later this summer or early next fall i'll make it to johnson valley and the rubicon. So my WMS to WMS of the dana 60's is about 67", my outside of tire to outside of tire is around 78" i belive. The H2 rims are 17x8.5 with 5.5" backspacing. I also run 6" TJ flares to keep the mud off. At first it seemed like a good idea, but after a summer of wheeling i'll be getting new wheels or some 2" wheel spacers cause my hubs stick way to far out, they are the first thing to come in contact with the rocks, which REALLY sucks. Here's a few front shots that i dug up.

Hi Wally,
Here is a pic of my buddy on the last climb out of Carnage. His classic words were "hook me up, quick" refering to the winch cable!

Hey Wally do you have any info on the bob you did to your jeep, I think that I would like to do this. Did you have to cut any of the floor on the inside? How did you get the metal bent?

I used 3/16" steel, and incorperated my body mounts into that since the old ones were rusted out. The local machine shop here in town bent those up for me and welded them in, took some time measuring then just cut the tub away and welded them in, they work great, but i did tweak one side just a bit after droping down on it repeatedly one day at carnage in boulder. THis winter i'm going to press it back straight again and then reinforce it with part of my new cage so it shoudl be just a bit stronger, but otherwise i've bashed em MANY times and never had a problem, i think i would have bent any rocker guard that day in Carnage when i tweaked these, i did about 5 consectutive 3' drops onto the rocker trying to climb a water fall and kept slipping off the rock.

I was keeping it top secret ;) Im going to pick up the 8 lug 44 front with 4.10's and a lockright completely rebuilt, never run, that I got DIRT cheap sometime next week, the H2 wheels again, I got DIRT cheap, are already on my front porch, and the 14 bolt rear is sitting in burbank, just waiting for me to pick it up.... not to mention, I got a 4.0 that I may go pick up here shortly..
