Bronco Dana 20 T-Case

I seem to remeber reading somewhere that the Bronco Dana 20 would bolt directly to the AX-15 tranny. Does anybody know if this is true, and are there any write-ups about it??:puzzled:

Why not?? It has the same bolt pattern and the same 23-spline count.
