Know its not a YJ question but in a roundabout way it is

I just bought IR 1/2 inch thunder gun impact wrench and a
Central Pneumatic
4 HP, 120 PSI, 8 GALLON AIR COMPRESSOR.

My ? is the compressor is it good enough for working on my Jeep and round the house? I have a 2 gallon coleman which seems was only good for filling air in tires.
Hope to see a difference with the new compressor. Keep in mind not for shop use .I know the IR wrench is up to the task.

Planning on using these for my body lift upgrade and then my axle swaps.
And whatever else comes up

Going to ask for more air stuff for my bday and xmas. :brows:

These are the spec for the compressor

* Heavy duty 4 HP (peak) motor
* Dual capacitors for fast, easy starts
* Thermal overload protection
* Clear view oil window for easier maintenance
* High impact ABS shroud protects the motor
* Easy-to-read pressure regulator gauge
* CSA certified

120V, 60Hz, 4HP (peak), 3 HP (rated); 3400 RPM; Single stage pump, Oil lubricated; 120 PSI max; Air outlet: 1/4''-18NPT; Air delivery: 4.5 SCFM @ 115 PSI, 5.6 SCFM @ 90 PSI, 6.2 SCFM @ 70 PSI, 7.2 SCFM @ 40 PSI; Weight: 65 lbs.

These are the specs for the IR thunder GUN

This 1/2'' drive air impact wrench delivers up to 625 ft. lbs. of torque—on shop air! Originally available only to professional pit crews, the "Street Legal Thundergun" screams at 10,000 RPM delivering 1,250 blows per minute all with a net weight of just 5.75 lbs.

* Maximum torque: 625 ft. lbs.
* Torque range: 40-400 ft. lbs.
* Impacts: 1,250 blows per minute
* Maximum speed: 10,000 RPM
* Standard bolt capacity: 9/16''
* Average air consumption: 5.4 CFM
* Air inlet: 1/4'' NPT
* Recommended hose size: 3/8''
* Tool weight: 5.75 lbs.

Thinking I may call harpor f tomorrow and cancel the compressor unless I hear good things from you guys and buy a "name brand compressor"
