Just bought a set ot 34x10.50 LTB Swampers and wanna know if they're safe to run thru winter months if siped.

Right now i have 4- 31" winter tires that i love for winter, but with 4.10's and 4" lift, i dunno if they'll be too small for the ratio.
That and stoppping on ice is a concern for me cuz the g/f drives the heep occaisonally to university.
Should i sipe my tires and sell the winter treads ?
P.S.- Located in Nova Scotia CANADA eh!
We get some snow here and it doesn't stop us from wheelin!

Siping the center lugs is a good idea here. Yes do it and enjoy em while they last. i have seen siped swampers outlast unsiped ones on virtually the same rigs. But remember, nothing stops you on ice other than studs

Go for the siping. I've also seen it make tires last longer. I've run one set of boggers that were siped and it actually helped me not die while driving with those and a spool in the rain. That's my only experience.
