I have a '95 with a 2.5 and it did have a cb in it. The cb was hooked into a red and a black wire with and aftermarket stereo wiring harness. I cut the cb out and now the stereo doesn't work, and also the dome light doesn't work. I tried replacing the fuses under the dash, and it still won't work. what else could it be?

Were the CB wires connected to the same power supply as the radio? Could be that the wires are touching some metal somewhere.

I honestly don't know if this would help.... I'm only guessing.

Assuming the black wire was 'ground' - could it be possible that you disrupted the ground circuit for the stereo also??
