94 yj 4.0 wont start!!!

jeep cranks over and over but wont fire. I replaced the coil, and the CPS. By the engine codes it looks like the shiat hit the fan, pretty much evrey sensor is getting an over charge or shorted condition but the check engine light never came on. My buddy said it may be the computer, swapped the one from my dads xj in for S&G's and it still didnt fire. I checked for spark i have nothing, fuel pressure is good but doesent matter anyway do to no spark. So question does the 4.0 have an ignition modual, and would this go bad causing this? And what other sensors should i check?

there should be a magnetic pickup/ cam pos. sensor of some sort underneath the distributor cap. check it. a haynes manual will probably be able to give you instructions on how to check it with a multi-tester.

the magnetic pickup came off inside the distributor and thats what caused it. well three distributors later, its running but the timings way off, god i hate jeeps.
