Ok, i Have a 93 yj 2.5... it has an msd ignigtion... i replace the coil and went wheeling... get to the top if the montian (naturaly) and the pice dies... thought it was my fuel pump... but nope, its got tonz of pressure... so i got it to the point where it will start but it runs ruff... the RPMs climb a little bit than drop back down to almost nothing... but still runs, than it does it again... My check engiine light is on, and it is giving me a code 33... thats A/C circut short/open the pice NEVER had a A/C! much less than that that shouldn't change engine performance... It have been weeks now that i have been working on it... i replace the TPS, and today i am gunna replace the O2 sensor..; anyone had this problem before?:puzzled:

I would have said TPS until I read that you replaced that and it didn't work. Have you checked for any vacuum leaks?

Yeah, i have a samll one under my dash... or thaty is to say had... it went to the heater controls...

So i got it running and i can drive it around now... but my check engine light is still on... so i am gunna go rent the code reader again and see what it has to say...

It's been awhile since I've read up on this. I think a Non AC vehicle will trip the the AC code. This indicates all normal for a Non AC vehicle. I'd double check the MSD ignition. At one time I was running the MSD Offroad 6a and blaster coil. I count these among my worst upgrades. I eventually went back to stock along side the road when the MSD broke for no reason.

Also, have you checked the knock sensor? I've never had a problem however many on this board have had the knock sensor problem over the years.

Ok, what is a knock sensor? And i got it running... but it is limiting itself to 4 grand... the msd has a 6 grand limiter... I Have a brand new coil... less the 100 miles on it... i wish i had the stiok stuff to put on, but i bought it with the msd on it... I have another msd box that I am gunna try
