What's a good tranny that will bolt up to my np-231. Anything out a junkyard that will work? Thanks

an AX4 , AX5 , AX15 , or a BA10 trans will bolt up to that T-case

NV3550 is almost a straight bolt up. Used in 2000+ wranglers. From what I've been told it's stronger too.

Mudonmyjeep, I would say, trade in your tranny to a tranny shop for a completely rebuilt one. It'll bring the price way down and you'll have a fresh tranny. I know where I live they charge a lot of money to pull a tranny out of a junkyard.
