I just bought a new 258 to replace the POS that is currently in my Jeep. The new engine has the 32/36 Weber carb and I'm trying to sort out a few things....
The new motor ran great in the CJ...but I noticed that the Ignition Control Module was not connected whatsoever. I'm a bit new to the specific differences in the mechanical operation of the Carter vs the Weber so I'm curious as to whether the Weber installation competely removes the ICM from the picture or what is going on...
Any info you've got would be greatly appreciated.....
