waz up i just found your forum and ive been huntin one down for years that i might be interested in joining. I have a 94 w. YJ with 35 dunlop MTs and a spring over with f and r add a leafs with 3 in body lift. i have just recieved a 383 from my boss out of his charger and would kinda like to find out someone elses opinion on what i might need to do to fit it under the hood. Thx for yalls time. Greg

To start with you would need a new radiator, motor mounts, tranny, transfer case and new axles so you dont blow the factory stuff up. That is just the start, and that is why I stayed with the six.

the 383 stroker is an 350 with .030 bore and a 400 crank. The mopar 383 isnt a stroker..... :neil: can someone please confirm :puzzled:

383 stroker is a SBC the 383 Mopar is a big-block and most likely wont fit without major modifications. you will need a 727 tranny or if you can find a 4 speed for it.and as someone already said motor mounts,radiator,t-case and axles. so basically it will take alot of money,time,and fabrication

ok thats what i needed to know and about the stroker that was a mistake
