Whats need when buying a locker?

ive found a used locker on ebay for 90 bucks out of a 95 yj. it has a 3:73 carrier which i cant use, but what else do i need besides the locker to install into my jeep, i have 4:10 gears dana 30(FRONT). my 1st locker experience, thanks in advance

What kind of locker is it? If it is a lockrite then you really wouldnt need anything, you would want to check the cross-shaft and make sure that it wasnt worn. Most other lockers will require gear set up which you would need to have someone with experience do.

Find out if it has the stock cross-shaft with it or if it has lockrite's titanium cross-shaft.

You do know that with this locker you will have a hard time making turns in 4 low and will use 2 hi a lot more on the trail, right?
