Anyone know what is best to clean a soft top with. I am asking because I do not want to use something that might damage it.
thanks:usflag:

To be honest and "convertable top cleaner" from a parts store will work well. I have also found that if that doesn't work, simple green works well. Also I clean it with a soft brush. When you're done cleaning you should coat it with a protectant. Probably 303 protectant it doesn't have silicone so it will keep the top flexable, crack free, and free of fadding :yup:

I've always used Simple Green to get the red clay and sludge off

I use Purple Stuff, the same product I use on my white letters on the tires. I dilute it about 50/50 and it works great. Find it on most store's shelves close to Simple Green.
