Dana30 help (spares)

I can get a complete hp30 from an XJ for 100 bucks (complete.. the housing might be bent, but the internals are fine). I want this for spare parts since I'll be running 35s on my locked dana30 starting next week. Only thing is, I think this axle has the 260x ujoints (and I've got the 297x). Would this matter at all as long as the proper ujoint was in the proper shaft (obviously)??? Any reasons I shouldn't get the axle?? TIA :giveup:

As long as the XJ you are getting the axle out of has a vacuum disconnect, I don't see why it would matter. They would work fine as spares. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

Thanks. I checked and it does have the same vac disco as us YJers (its in an 89 xj). So unless y'all think the price isnt good, I think I'm gonna pick it up. Thanks again .:clapping:
