View Full Version : Your most expensive mistake
What's been your most costly mistake--jeep wise?
For me, my most expensive screw up was spending extra money to buy an ultra nice used YJ without realizing how powerful the 'wheeling bug is. That expensive, super nice YJ is now a scuffed, scratched, dented, mod'd and drove hard weekend warrior. When I bought it, I had no idea how four wheeling and jeeps grab you and make you do insane things...and like it.:)
*Sigh* Live and learn.

Paying way too much for an 89 yj with a 4.2 and carb, when I should have held out for a 91+ model. Now Ive got so much money tied up in my 89 it just wouldn't make sense to sell it.
