Trav,
Looks good. Make sure you check your shackle bolts (as well as u bolts) after driving it. The shackle bolts have a tendency to loosen up. You don't want them too tight though, just not falling off. :)
We torque ours to 20 ft/lbs and double nut them to prevent them from loosening up. Even the nylock nuts get loose after a while.

i would go with the piston end first vs. the body.

Funny. My SJ hydros look EXACTLY the same. Same red poly bushings. Same everything. I'd almost bet the bank they come out of the same factory. Then again, theres only 2 shock companys who make all of the shocks out there.

20 ft/lbs works for the wheeling I do. If 35 works for you, it's cool.
The ride on road is also much better at the lower torque setting. Like I said in my post, the bolts have a double nut on them and we have no issues anymore with them getting loose.

mine are at 25 ft/lb's and thats a little too tight in my opinion

Oops! I misread the word "light" thinking it said "tight"... and I was thinking to myself that 20 is not as tight as 35... I thought you had things a little backward. As far as how much you should torque them, I say do it as tight as you want.

Looks good man. I would lose the trackbars. They are worthless. It will flex a lot more without them also.

the driveshaft is about 18.5 inches and i ordered the driveshaft from Tom Woods and he messed up my address, so it comes in a week from today and i ordered it two weeks ago...i'm getting all antsy in my pantsy waiting for the damn thing. I just finished putting in the SYE. that went fairly smooth. i'm dying to drive it....the most its moved was back and forth about 5 ft in my driveway......i'm sick of waiting.
