For 89 YJ's

I saw an 89 Yj with what looked like a cj glove box. I was wondering if this was stock or a modification. If it is a mod, how difficult is it? I think I might try to do this to my YJ of at all possible.

Yeah, most likely a Tuffy glovebox. They come with the metal grab bar like the CJs did.

WHo has done that... put a CJ dash on a YJ? How long a project is it? I like the look of the CJ dash and I hate the YJ dash.

I read a couple writeups on that mod. In fact, I think I started a thread on it. Search the old Wrangler forum and you should find it. There were several responses with URLs.

Love the look, but it appears to be a mod that's a bit over my head right now, what with all the wiring and stuff involved. Let us know if you try it.
