Anyone done the dana 300 swap into a 4-banger AX-5? I may be able to come across some fairly cheap, and if anyone has a writeup or access to on, i'd be much appreciative

If I'm not mistaken the Dana 300 has a passenger front output and the NP231 is driver side.

I'm still dreaming of fitting an unflipped d300 to my TJ....If only I could find an apt donor front axle & reasonable priced D300....

I don't think AA makes these.try here (http://www.jeepbox.com/xfercases.htm)
In a 4 cyl ax5 you have a 21 spline input on your trans. the 6 has a 23. unless someone makes an adapter you would need to find a 6 trans
