I've got an '95 S (or SE, whichever) model.
There is that empty part of the dash under the speedometer that should mount a fog light switch, read window defroster switch & rear window washer switch. I am adding a few sets of lights & want to laod 3 fog light switches in there.

Does anyone have an idea how much the factory switches are?

Or is there an aftermarket switch that works in that size?

Thanks...

There was a post yesterday with some links to ARB style marine switches. I think they look cool and stand up to harsh enviornments.

I went on the web & found the pics above. So I thought I'd try to find the same switch locally without having to go to the stealership.
I stopped by my local AutoZone, they don't stock it, but can order it for $17.99.
SO, I gave up & decided to go by the stealership. They want $18 & have to order it from Minnesota. There are NONE locally.
Then I stopped by my local Advance Auto Parts, they wanted $25.99, & they were having to order it from the same company that I found the pic above from. :sadpink:

Now, my question is this: Where can I find a switch that has a wide enough body to fit in the factory locations, but doesn't have that wide of a price tag???

I thought about hitting some of the performance shops around town, or calling Jeg's or Summit Racing. OR would NAPA have such a thing?
I'm so confused why this is so odd of an item to stock...

Comments???

I have tried A LOT of the aftermarket rocker switches and nothing holds up like a factory fog light toggle!!

ORDER IT FROM THE STEALERSHIP

The TJ guys are using the ARB style switches made by Carling Tech. They are available from Off-Road Fabricators as well as a bunch of marine shops. Sea-Dog.com lists them. I found them non-lighted at a boat shop for $15. Some shops list them for less, and even offer switches that have two "on" positions for running two separate accessories (not at the same time.) That might make more sense than factory fog switches...

Good Idea... I'm going to be doing some shopping @ the performance shops around town today. I'll let you guys know if I find a supplier...

I think I may have found some from Painless Performance Products.

Now, my question is, should I get Red, Amber, or what color w/ a Spice Interior. I'm thinking Amber....

The stock ones have an amber light. I have the spice colored interior, and my fog light switch has an amber light... I think it's just a matter of your preference.

These are made by MOROSO. I can get them for $10.99 each from SummitRacing.com. They appear to be like the ARB style switches.
I just can't bear the thought of paying $18+ each for the factory style switches...
