Wa requires mud flaps on any vehicles w/over size tires. After getting pulled over a couple times (one being recently) I figured I would put some on the Jeep and be done with it. The trouble is after looking I can't see were its even possible to mount any kind of mud flaps or splash guard without them getting torn off by my tires. Has anyone else had to do this or have any ideas?

I got jacked on that a while back as well, that and fender flares not covering enough. Fortunately been lucky since then, but those trail flaps look like a good idea.

I've got the flaps too. This is a picture of my TJ next to Cash's (makes the TrailFlaps) YJ....I guess its not a good picture, but you still can see them on a YJ. Call Cash at Central 4 Wheel Drive or stop in (Everett)...

You can always weld a square tube to the frame. That's what we do for inspection.

Thanks for the info. I think I will look into getting some of those trail flaps.

That's one thing I don't miss about Oregon! The cops were always on us about that. Those flaps look like a good idea though and don't look "too bad"!
