anyone know of the top of their head the size of the centering bolt for the RE 4.5 springs. mine broke and got very mangled, so i can't really determine the size and the bolt head size.

thanks

Dont really know if this helps or not but the centering holes on the front and rear end are 1/2 inch..... I know because I had to drill them out to get my RE springs on.

Dennis, if you read this, how long are your bumpstops? I plan on running 33's and would like to know. You were dead on with those shock lengths, my 9000's work great now with those hoops ;)

take the other one out and use as a pattern. i broke/bent several before going to the 8.8 with NO shims- that's what kills the centering pins. just get some grade 8 bolts and grind the heads round to fit in the perch.

ummmm

stock front/rear stops with homemade 2" extensions on the front to keep the tires from eating what fenders i have left.

Rather than buying grade 8 bolts and grinding the head down, you can just by grade 8 5/16 allen head bolts to use. that's what I did and it hasn't failed me yet.
