I realize there are some real savvy guys out there who know how to cut costs, have excellent fab skills & know there way around rigs. Seems the guys who burnt the midnight oil on these rigs, knew what approach would net them there goals.
I'm sure some will frown on there approach, but I think there ingenuity gained them the results they wanted to achieve. If it works for them, that's good. :)

Hmmm..... Well I drive one of the jeeps in that article. I agree, that the best way to tackle a project is to find out what you can do yourself to help it along. I posted the link just to share our experience, and maybe provide ideas for someone with similar skills.

I jsut read that article. The only thing i didnt like about it was that i can forsee persons who are not cabable of such work would be attempting it.
I want to go soa, but at the same time i dont. For me SOA would be new front axle, bigger tires, I would get to ditch my bl though, and I would need ds's
And be illegal in NJ...
but i have a feeling the pros of it will be winning me over soon
