Ordered and received most of a Adj Skyjacker track bar and now I'm ready to install it. Crawled under the Jeep and discovered that when the SkyJacker Adj Track bar is installed the Steering Stabilizer Sway bar mount that is included will block my Tera Flex sway bar disconnects. Hmmmm so if I want to use the track bar I have to give up the Tera Flex disconnects.... I don't thinks so. I'm looking at it and I think I can cut off the part used to mount the steering stabilizer and maybe weld it to the frame/side of the mount. Anyone else give this a try or have pictures of one mounted up?
Ideas?
Thanks,

Thanks for the picture. Problem is that will not help me with the Tera Flex disconnects, the need to move to the inside of the Jeep to disconnect and the plate mounting the Track Bar/Steering stabalizer would block the passenger side disconnect.
Still looking.

In the third picture in the fouth album, there will be a closup picture of the bracket we made for the end of the steering stabilizer by the Tera QDs. It's an "h" shaped bracket that fits tight to the top of the trackbar axle mount, using the upper part of the "h" to mount the stabilizer. It doesn't get in the way at all. It's worked great for the last 1 1/2 years.
Hope this helps. Email me with any questions.

kip98TJ,
Yes. Because we designed the "h" bracket to fit tight on all three sides of the trackbar axle bracket, the trackbar mounting bolt and all of it's torque holds everything in place - nothing has moved in a year-and-a-half.

I just cut the "L" part off and welded it the bracket to the axle. It worked really good. Here is a pic http://community.webshots.com/photo/17731851/20393136BwvfXhpssi

P.S- I word of advice watch that Track bar like a hawk, mine ripped that steering stabilizer bracket right off of the axle. Its not meant to take all of the of the weight and sideloads of a track bar. I would look into bracing that bracket up

I say watch the jam nut on the other end as it seems to loosen itself.

I ran into same problem. The trac bar wasn't meant to be mounted in the stearing stabalizer mount and the bushing on the track bar itself sucks. I ended up returning the track bar after a week with a tore up bushing and going with RE track bar. It is stronger, better bushing, and I can use it with disc. other than the ones from sky jacker. I am very pleased with it and can now use my JKS disc.
