just got the top off this weekend, and decided to use my bikini for the summer. i also have the windjammer. when i put on my soft doors (the ones that came with my supertop, rounded, not pointed), there is a huge gap from the rollbar to the door, and around the top of the door all the way to the front. i was helping my buddy with a TJ switch his tops last weekend, and i am thinking that the plastic frame thing that goes right in that area would be perfect. i am wondering if it would fit, or come close to fitting. i know i might have to cut my roll bar pad a little bit, but that doesnt bother me... anyone? thanks

It will NOT fit. there is nothing the same between the bodies on a YJ and TJ.

The bodies look similar, but then again late modle broncos and blazers look similar too, none of those parts are intercangable.

I dont mean to sound like an a$$, but all you should have to do is look at the two Jeeps you will fint that they are very different.

yeah, i know the bodies are different, but does that mean that the roll bars are drastically different? that is all that would really matter i would think.

Since you can look at your buddys door surrounds, why dont you try them and see. It may take a little modifying but it might work. I HAVE heard of someone using them. I think the main difference was the height of the tubs. YJ and TJ softdoors interchange(except for the latches) so there is a chance. Give it a try and let us know.

stupid question, but have you adjusted the crap out of your doors yet? I just put mine on too and I had a gap up front by the windshield and it let tons of water in, loosened the two adjuster bolts last night, moved the door around on the frame to the right spot, tightened em, and now theres no more gap http://forums.jeepsunlimited.com/ubb/smile.gif

it is not in the front of the door it is by the vertical rollbar behind the seat. there is about a 4-5 inch gap. i guess i will be trying with my buddies within the next few days. ill let you know
