i just put on a weber carb on my 89 6 cylinder wrangler and im haveing power and mialge issues and i bought the one taht gives you better milage. it is running rich i know that for a fact and when idleing it will over time flood itself out. also i have less power than i had before. could all this be a mixture problem. also the weber requires significantly less vacuum lines to run. and the kit comes withh a lot of t and elbo connecters that i couldnt find use for. are all of these supposed to be used. any help would be more than apreciated

For weber info check out Redline Weber. They are the US importer of weber carbs.

Did you buy the carb new? If so, it had lots of instructions that came with it about setup stuff. Did you try adjusting the idle per instructions?
Also: What did you do with all the emissions stuff that was on the Jeep? You will need to at least cap off all the vacuum lines you are not planning to hook back up and figure out what to do with stuff like EGR, Smog pump, carbon cannister, etc.
With mine, all I used was the vaccuum for PCV and distributor. Everything else got blanked off/plugged.
I will try to help out if I can with further stuff.

Are you running a fuel pressure regulator? If not I would recommend installing and inline one and setting it a 3.5#. It will also help with inclines.
Also, where is your timing set at?
As for vacuum/emissions this is what I had when it was all done. I removed the pulse air on mine. I'm not sure if you have emissions testing where you are but if you don't, you could get away with this.

I am running a GM HEI distributor and 10-12 degrees of timing.
Good Luck.
